Martie Severin, Nusery Coordinator

Wellspring member Martie Severin joined our staff in November 2008 as Nursery Coordinator. She has worked for over 25 years with children, most recently as a preschool teacher with Creative Critters II in Williamsburg. Martie has also taught public school Kindergarten and ages 3, 4 and 5 in church-related nursery schools.

Martie and her husband Mike moved from Doylestown, PA to Williamsburg in 2007, when Mike retired. They have two adult daughters, Melanie in Maryland and Amanda in Boston.

Martie says, "I feel blessed to serve God and Wellspring by caring for the infants and toddlers in the nursery with Nursery Assistant Katie Hill and all of the nursery volunteers." Martie enjoys gardening, reading, and hiking, and is currently learning to knit.
