Lori Shahan, Choir Director

Lori has been a Wellspring member since 1987 and our beloved Choir Director since 1988. She holds a Music Education degree and conducts the choir with both professionalism and finesse. The inspiring music sung by the choir at the 9:00 service each Sunday morning is a credit to Lori's superb direction. Her thoughtful selection of anthems and other special music appropriate to the liturgical season and worship themes are a remarkable gift.

She promotes excellence by encouraging each choir member to sing to the best of his or her ability and continues to challenge them with more advanced musical compositions. By creating a small group atmosphere, Lori has made choir a sanctuary where people can share their faith walks and lift up prayers for those in need. The presence of the Holy Spirit can be felt when listening to the choir sing with such passion and joy.

Lori also shares her beautiful voice and musical talent with one of Wellspring's praise bands, Cross Purposes. She has a son Ross and a daughter Erin. Lori works in the field of dentistry and has been a Certified Dental Assistant since 1984.
